About
I'm Pete. This is where I work problems out in public — some from my working life in quantitative finance and operations research, some for the pleasure of it. Whichever half a page comes from, the aim is the same: build the idea as something you can operate, so that reading about it and playing with it are the same act.
The pages are static, and every sketch runs in your browser — no server does any of the thinking. The site is built with Astro; the interactive pieces are React and p5.js, the charts are D3, and it all follows your system's light or dark setting rather than asking you to pick one. The source is public if you want to see how any of it works.
